About Cahillbrand

More than a brand. A legacy.

Built on heritage, heart, and a passion for helping small businesses thrive online.

A little about us

Built from purpose, shaped by people

At Cahillbrand, we’re more than a web design and development studio. We’re a small but passionate team driven by purpose: helping small businesses build meaningful, lasting digital homes.

Our story began in 2015, when Danny turned personal tragedy into a mission to create. Drawing on years of web development experience and a deep empathy for the challenges small businesses face, Cahillbrand was born.

Based in Southend-on-Sea, we’ve since helped businesses across the UK shape their digital identity with websites that are not only beautiful, but functional, fast, and built to last.

The name Cahillbrand is a tribute to Danny’s family: a blend of his parents’ surnames, used by the family. It stands for legacy, community, and collaboration. It reminds us why we do what we do, not just for the work, but for the people behind it.

Why it matters

Cahillbrand exists because I know how it feels to lose everything, and to rebuild with intention. Whether you’re just starting out or scaling up, you deserve a web partner who sees you.

Danny, Founder

The work means more when the people do

Every project is personal because every business has a story behind it. That is why we build with empathy, clarity, and long-term care rather than chasing quick wins.

Meet the team

Small, thoughtful, and built around real relationships

Cahillbrand is intentionally small. That means you get direct communication, practical thinking, and a team that genuinely cares about the people behind each project.

Founder & Developer

Danny

Danny has spent more than a decade working across technology, design, and digital delivery, helping businesses build websites that are not just beautiful but meaningful.

He believes in clear communication, purposeful design, and creating solutions that last.

When he’s not deep in code or design, he’s usually exploring, playing computer games, doing a spot of DIY, or spending time with his husband Shawn and their dogs, Gus and Rufus.

Chief Morale Officer

Gustopher

Gus is the resident sidekick and energy booster at Cahillbrand. He keeps things grounded with regular walk breaks, occasional cameo appearances, and an endless supply of enthusiasm.

His main role is making sure work always leaves space for joy.

He also takes his responsibilities seriously, whether that means supervising snack time, keeping an eye on the postman, or reminding everyone when it’s time to step away from the screen.

Chaos Gremlin (In Training)

Rufus

Rufus is the newest recruit at Cahillbrand, still finding his paws and testing the limits of what counts as acceptable office behaviour.

He brings boundless curiosity, suspiciously targeted destruction, and a commitment to keeping everyone on their toes.

Currently undertaking intensive research into chair-leg durability, cable management, and whether all household objects are edible.
